We can all agree we're being hit with proper Winter weather at the moment, risk of ice and snow doesn't appeal to everyone and you do have to weigh up the risk. For those who know, we are expecting a lil' one any day now and we don't think Mrs Notinthepeloton would appreciate us being in the bed next to her as she's doing the incredible thing of giving life whilst we have half of our body wrapped in a cast just because we thought the weather was no match for us! So if you are managing to keep the outside miles ticking over, Kymira has timely released some Winter apparel to keep the body warm and toasty...
KYMIRA Sport, the original producer of human-powered infrared sportswear, announces it has expanded its renowned winter cycle range by launching a new long sleeved jersey and bib-tights, giving riders the freedom to venture out in even the coldest of conditions. Made with KYnergy infrared fabric, the long sleeve jersey is designed to keep the cyclist on their bike regardless of the weather. Its breathability and ultra-quick drying properties allow for the wearer to maintain a consistent body temperature, which is vital for winter exercise. With a tapered fit that is slightly looser at the front, the long sleeve jersey also features ergonomic pockets and a zip-lock pocket at the rear for the safe storage of valuables.
Created with support and performance in mind, the bib-tights cover all leg muscles to keep the wearer warm and supported. With KYnergy infrared fabric, the bib-tights will accelerate the rider’s recovery, improve circulation and increase tissue oxygenation to give an extra boost. The bib-tights aim to keep the wearer comfortable in the saddle with the Masguant CoolMax pad for men and LaFonte Vigor pad for Women offering further support on longer rides.
Speaking on the new products, Tim Brownstone, CEO and Founder of KYMIRA Sport, commented: “We’re delighted to be further extending our range of winter garments, particularly in the cycling sector. Designed with our KYnergy technology, the garments will assist both the pro and amateur athletes alike, particularly for those looking to go that little bit further.”
