It's probably safe to say at some point even if it was for a split second we've imagined ourselves riding like a pro'. Ok, ok, I did say it was for a split second! Well, if you would like to turn that dream into a reality, Garmin offering a chance for 6 amateur cyclists to be trained up be kitted out like the pro's, sweet little prize if you ask us...

Garmin has today launched its inaugural Next Level Programme, in partnership with Olympic Gold Medallist, Dani Rowe and professional cyclist Matt Rowe, to find a team of pro-amateur cyclists to participate in a dedicated training programme, usually only the pros would receive, ahead of Garmin’s annual 50km Ride Out in September.

The money-can’t-buy programme will provide an exclusive number of participants a one-off opportunity to train like a pro using the tools of professional cyclists alongside the newly-launched Garmin Edge 530 and 830 to help cyclists move to the next level of performance. Six carefully selected amateur cyclists will be put through their paces with bespoke training programmes, supervised rides and tailored nutritional guidance across a two-month period. There will also be 20 runners up who will receive training tips directly from Matt and Dani.

In September, the final 6 participants will take part in Garmin’s annual Ride Out. The ride, designed by Action Medical Research’s cycling experts, is a fully marshalled 50 miles route through the New Forest, offering one of the most scenic cycling experiences in the country.

Speaking of the programme, Dani Rowe said; “We are thrilled to have partnered with Garmin to create the Next Level Programme. This initiative truly offers the kind of training usually only available to the pros so Matt and I are proud to be offering it to amateur cycling enthusiasts up and down the country.”

Jon Oliver, Managing Director UK & Ireland, Garmin added; “By partnering with Dani and Matt, we are offering a chance to have world class coaching experience from champion cyclists, coupled with some of the most advanced training techniques in the world – all distilled down to training sessions that work individually for the selected six. Never before has such a pro experience been offered to amateur cyclists and we can’t wait to see how the winners’ performance improves. We are excited to launch the competition and get our innovative products onto their bikes to help with training, racing and adventure.”

Following a robust application and selection process, the Garmin Next Level Programme will begin for the 6 participants and 20 runners up in July.  For your chance to take part in this once in a lifetime opportunity, head to
