They already make the hipster bike of the commuter world, now they've dived into their own clothing range in collaboration with household brand Endura. Brompton's bikes are all custom made and they can now be found globally not just London such as New York, Tokyo and Milan. Are they aiming for that cat walk? What's the odds that one of the Kardashians will be posing on a Brompton in a gillet and reflective socks?!...

Brompton Bicycle, the iconic folding bike manufacturer, has announced its new range of apparel and accessories – designed for the demanding, discerning and style-conscious commuter cyclist – which will debut at the COREbike show in Towcester, United Kingdom this week. Created in partnership with renowned British cycle clothing manufacturer Endura, Brompton has produced a range of premium garments, designed to offer exceptional weather protection, visibility and versatility. Subtle, understated but utilising high-quality technical materials tested to perform and protect, each piece of the range is tailored to fit an inter-modal, urban, cycle-commuter – practical to ride in and just as easy to wear off the bike, whilst importantly still allowing them to look good at all times.

The new range will be showcased to the public for the very first time on the Endura stand at COREbike show, within a specific Brompton pop-up section. Here show goers will be able to see, touch and even try on for size the range of new apparel and accessories before anyone else in the world. Named after several vibrant cities across the world which are close to Brompton’s heart and home to a Brompton Junction store, the new range comprises seven premium garments:

London 3L Waterproof Jacket

Barcelona Windproof Packable Jacket

New York Insulated Reversible Gillet

Amsterdam Performance Knit

London Windproof Glove

Barcelona Coolmax Reflective Socks

New York Merino Multitube

Brompton London Waterproof Jacket_Studio

Due to hit stores in late summer 2019, Brompton’s new range has been designed primarily with Autumn/Winter (in Europe and North America) in mind but can be used all-year-round as a versatile solution to changeable and unpredictable weather conditions. Pricing is yet to be announced but further information will be released in due course.

Joel Natale, Head of Product Development, Brompton Bicycle, “The launch of our new clothing range is a big move for Brompton and something we’ve been working on for a while. We knew the demand was there within our customer base, but we wanted to get it right first time and ensure the products we developed were the best they could be".

"Partnering with a great British brand like Endura allows us to tap in to their countless years of experience and advanced expertise. They’ve been producing quality cycle clothing for 25 years, so it made complete sense for us to utilise this experience by collaborating to develop a range designed specifically for Brompton riders, with their inter-modal needs in mind. We’re extremely proud of what we have created.”

Jim McFarlane, Founder and Managing Director of Endura, “Endura and Brompton are British bike industry brands sharing rich histories steeped in invention, engineering and craft. We are also both committed to continuing a tradition of manufacturing on local soil. Despite coming from completely different product category backgrounds, we found many parallels in the way that we operate both globally and locally, and a mutual respect for each other’s approach.  Brompton have a very clearly defined niche and we collaborated to develop a sharp and focussed offer with the reassurance and flair that Endura can deliver.”

Further information on the new Brompton range of apparel and accessories will be available on in the coming months. For more information on COREbike and to register to attend, visit
